Staff Participates in Operation Paintbrush
Continuing its commitment to volunteerism, the Richmond International Raceway staff assisted the Operation Paintbrush program in Henrico County today by fixing up a local resident's home through much-needed repairs. The staff came out in full force to scrape, paint, repair railings and gutters and give the landscaping a facelift.

NASCAR Foundation Car Wash
Richmond International Raceway hosted a NASCAR Foundation Car Wash on June 1, 2011. For a $15 donation, fans received a car wash, paced laps around the track in their vehicle and a NASCAR Unites wristband. Nearly 200 fans came out, raising $3,000 for Junior Achievement of Central Virginia, The NASCAR Foundation and Richmond International Raceway CARES.

David Ragan, UPS & Richmond International Raceway Donate School Supplies
David Ragan (driver of the #6 UPS Ford), UPS and Richmond International Raceway teamed up to donate school supplies to Douglas Wilder Middle School, as part of the Henrico County Public School SS Challenge. The partnership resulted in a big brown truck full of school supplies that will benefit needy students.

Richmond International Raceway is accepting donations for the Marine Toys for Tots and Central Virginia Foodbank. All donations received at the track will be matched, toy for toy and food item for food item. So it's like giving twice as much!
