Fans have two opportunities to see Brad Keselowski on Monday, August 27

It may as well be Brad Keselowski Day in Virginia this Monday, August 27. NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski, who is currently fifth in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point standings and is tied for most wins this season, is visiting Virginia in advance of the September 8, Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway. Keselowski is making a stop on Monday, August 27, in Hampton and Richmond.

Fans are invited to The NASCAR Sports Grille, located at 1996 Power Plant Parkway; Hampton, VA 23666, where Keselowski will participate in a Q&A session, at 2:00 p.m., open to the public. The Richmond International Raceway Pace Car will be on display from noon to 3:00 p.m. A huge supporter of military personnel, Keselowski will also have a private meet and greet with select Langley Air Force service men and women.

Keselowski then heads to the Monroe Park Campus of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, where he will participate in a Q&A session open to the public in the VCU Commons Theatre, located in the University Student Commons (building located between W. Main St. & Floyd Ave.) at 5:45 p.m. Following the Q&A, Keselowski and RIR President Dennis Bickmeier will team up for a corn hole match versus VCU’s Director of Athletics, Ed McLaughlin, and VCU Men’s Basketball Associate Head Coach Mike Rhoades. Come out and cheer on your favorite team! RIR will have its Pace Car in the Commons Plaza at 5:00 p.m., along with free pizza (while supplies last)!

Just 12 days later, Keselowski returns to Richmond International Raceway for the Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway. This is “One Last Race to Make The Chase” and will be the final opportunity for drivers to race their way into the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Tickets start at $45 in advance can be purchased online by clicking here or by calling 866-455-7223.

The weekend begins Friday, September 7, when the NASCAR Nationwide Series hits the track for the Virginia 529 College Savings 250. Elliott Sadler, Danica Patrick, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and many more will beat and bang around the ¾-mile track “under the lights.” Advance tickets start at $30, and children 12 and younger are admitted free with a ticketed adult in general admission sections.
