Virginia 529 College Savings Plan Boosts Presence at RIR With April 27, NASCAR Nationwide Series Race Entitlement

The April 27, NASCAR Nationwide Series race is the Virginia 529 College Savings 250.
Enhancing its heavy presence during the April 26-28 NASCAR weekend at Richmond International Raceway, Virginia 529 College Savings Plan is adding the NASCAR Nationwide Series race entitlement to its catalog. The Friday, April 27, NASCAR Nationwide Series race is officially titled the Virginia 529 College Savings 250.
Already recognizable at Richmond International Raceway, Virginia 529 College Savings Plan is in its fourth year of partnership with RIR, where it has held entitlement rights of the September NASCAR Nationwide Series race.
Throughout its partnership with Richmond International Raceway, Virginia 529 College Savings Plan has increased its visibility at RIR with several additions: Official College Savings Plan of RIR, Family Sections presented by Virginia 529 and the recently announced Virginia 529 Kids Zone powered by the Science Museum of Virginia.“Virginia 529 is pleased to announce that we have extended our relationship with Richmond International Raceway to include sponsorship of the April 27 Virginia 529 College Savings 250,” said Mary Morris, CEO of the Virginia 529 College Savings Plan. “We are also proud to sponsor the Virginia 529 Kids Zone, a new interactive area powered by the Science Museum of Virginia, which will be featured in the midway during both the April and September races. The Virginia 529 College Savings 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race is set for Friday, April 27. Travis Pastrana will make his series debut and will be joined by Virginia’s Elliott Sadler, Danica Patrick, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and many more. Children 12 and younger are admitted free with a ticketed adult in general admission sections.The weekend includes the Saturday, April 28, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 400 and a Thursday, April 26, doubleheader featuring the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model division and the Blue Ox 100 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race.
